This directory includes addresses, contacts, and areas of expertise and interest for each of NCRW's member centers.

Together, NCRW's member centers undertake work encompassing a full range of issues that affect women and girls. This listing is an index by subject categories of their work meant to provide greater access to information and expertise.

This directory includes addresses, contacts, and areas of expertise and interest for many of NCRW's affiliate organizations.

This list, compiled over the past nine years, includes over 300 centers in more than 80 countries.

Because of the growing number and influence of such centers, and because many international organizations--the United Nations as well as a variety of non-governmental organizations--are interested in collaborative research and programs, we are currently in the process of developing an expanded directory that will be published in print and here on our website. This directory will be indexed and will contain more extensive information on each center, including the following: mission statements and a key word index of the center or organization's main purpose(s); lists of the center or organization's principal activities including projects, publications, databases, conferences, and fellowships; names and titles of principal officers, researchers, and staff affiliated with the center or organization; and other relevant contact information such as e-mail addresses and websites.

Since updating and expanding our material is an ongoing process, we hope that you will take the time to look over the directory. You will see that many countries, especially in Central America, North and Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Middle East, are missing. We welcome corrections, as well as information on additional centers--divisions within universities, nongovernmental organizations, or free-standing research and policy institutes--that focus on women and girls, particularly in areas where we are deficient. Please take the time to fill out the questionnaire that we have prepared.
