Association for Women in Science- Operating on both the national and local levels, this organization founded in 1971 is devoted to achieving gender equity in science, mathematics, engineering and technology.

Center for Women Policy Studies- CWPS is a multiethnic feminist policy research and advocacy center whose programs address a wide range of issues concerning women and girls.

The Feminist Majority Foundation- This non-profit research and advocacy center is devoted to promoting equality for all women. Leads campaigns to inspire women to take power in all aspects of society while also developing long-term strategies for social, political, and economic change.

The General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC)- GFWC is one of the world's oldest and largest women's volunteer service organizations whose mission is to encourage women to improve their skills, expand their rights, and apply their abilities to society's problems.

Girls Incorporated- Girls Inc. is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring girls to be strong, smart, and bold. With national status for over fifty years, Girls Inc. has been at the forefront in supporting the changing needs of girls through programs that empower girls and teach them to understand, value, and assert their rights.

The Institute for Women's Policy Research- IWPR is a nonprofit, research organization concerned with equal opportunity and social and economic justice for women.

The Lower Eastside Girls Club- The Girls Club is a private, grass-roots organization dedicated to providing a supportive environment where girls age 8-18 can grow, learn, have fun, develop confidence in themselves, and discover how to use their resources to make a difference in the world.

MADRE- This international women's human rights organization was founded in 1983 in order to support women and families in conflict zones worldwide. MADRE works in partnership with community-based women's organizations in regions that have been directly impacted by unjust US policy.

National Coalition Against Domestic Violence- NCADV is a national grassroots advocacy organization representing battered women, domestic violence programs, and state coalitions.

NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund- Established by the National Organization for Women (NOW) the Legal Defense and Education Fund is an effort to bring about equality for all women and girls in the workplace, the family, and the courts through legal, education, advocacy, and public information programs.

Public Leadership Education Network (PLEN)- The Women and Public Policy Internship Program is the only Washington, D.C.
internship program devoted exclusively to women and public policy and designed
specifically for women students.

Sanctuary for Families- A program at the Center for Battered Women's Legal Services that provides emergency housing and crisis intervention to victims of domestic abuse. The organization also helps family violence victims secure public benefits and pursue the legal rights to which they are entitled.

The Women's Research and Education Institute- WREI is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that provides information and analyses on issues concerning women for policy makers and those interested in women's issues.

The Women's Sports Foundation- An educational organization dedicated to increasing the participation of girls and women in sports and fitness while creating an educated public that supports gender equity in sports.
