Summer Science Stories 2011 for Under the Microscope
Summer is here and it’s time to head to the beaches, pool, and some science out in the field or in the lab.
Last year we asked you, our readers, to send pictures, videos, and stories of your summer science experiences. This year we're doing it again!
Are you taking a camping trip on a nature preserve? Volunteering at an aquarium or zoo? Will you be interning at a lab or computer science company? Perhaps you’re taking a science course for girls in Harlem. Maybe you are participating in a breast cancer walk/run or a triathlon. Whatever you’re doing this summer we want to hear about it. You’re also invited to send a reflective piece of your introduction to the fun side of science at an academic camp. We want to capture the fun of summer and science with your stories!
Tell us about your experience and we'll share it throughout the summer. We’re accepting your Summer Science Stories all summer so send in yours today!
There are three easy ways to submit:
submit your pictures (with captions) through our Facebook fan page
submit your stories and/or picture with captions via email to the editor, at editor@underthemicroscope.com
submit your stories through the online form (login/registration required)
Submit today and encourage your friends and colleagues to send their summer science stories and photos today!
