Media Messaging for Writers
Attention writers! Having a hard time translating your brilliant ideas into sharp media messages? She Writes and the Women's Media Center are here to help! The Women's Media Center has a long track-record in media and leadership development for women through their Progressive Women's Voices program (of which NCRW's President, Linda Basch, is an alumn). She Writes, the largest community of women writers online, with nearly 10,000 members from all 50 states and 30 countries, was co-founded by NCRW alumna Deborah Siegel. She Writes is a vibrant hub where emerging writers and established bestsellers are finding services, support and actionable advice. These two fantastic organizations are teaming up to bring you a webinar on media messaging for writers. From the She Writes website:
In this webinar, the Women’s Media Center will offer a brief training on how to give the pieces you have so skillfully developed a life beyond the page. You will learn to master effective presentation techniques and develop messages that resonate with an audience in a way that brings your work to life and makes you the go-to source on your issue.
The webinar is Wednesday, June 23rd from 1-2pm EST and will be lead by Rebekah Spicuglia and Jamia Wilson. To learn more and sign up, click here.
