Every day, women and girls around the world are raped, beaten, and even killed, simply because of their gender. We can help stop this—change begins with us.
Join Women Thrive Worldwide in July for 31 Days of Action, a month long campaign to raise awareness, inspire action, and pass IVAWA (the International Violence Against Women Act). If passed, IVAWA would make ending violence against women - like the mass rapes still ocurring in the Democratic Republic of Congo - a foreign assistance and policy priority for the first time in U.S. history.
