Women's Leadership

Advancing women's leadership across sectors is one of the central imperatives of NCRW's work and mission. Although women have made great strides in education and professional training, this achievement does not always translate into increased numbers of women leaders. Researchers, advocates, and policymakers in business, academia, philanthropy, and the non-profit sector have been grappling with the leadership gap and seeking strategies to remove barriers to women's advancement. The Council is working closely with its partners to expand the pipeline and ensure that more women are empowered to take on leadership roles.
