- In this speech delivered tthe Commonwealth Club on March 23, 1973, Abzug addresses the effects of racism and sexism on the political climate in the U.S. and how women and minorities are disadvantaged politically and economically. Topics discussed include congressional and federal budget reform, immigration, equal representation of women and minorities in government, and anti-military views.
