WEDO Launches Young Women Leading toward a Sustainable Future Initiative at the 2012 CGI Annual Meeting

On September 24th, the Women's Environment & Development Organization, in partnership with the NCRW, launched the Young Women Leading toward a Sustainable Future initiative as an official Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Commitment to Action at the 2012 CGI Annual Meeting. This initiative will expand WEDO's programmatic focus to mobilize young women for a more just, healthy, and peaceful planet by mapping current initiatives focused on young women's empowerment and identifying methodologies for leadership development.  For more information on the initiative and WEDO's membership with the CGI, click here [2].
