Mary Thom, journalist and editor-and-chief for the Women’s Media Center, has died. A prominent feminist, Thom was a former editor of Ms. Magazine and a consultant for NCRW. Her work with NCRW includes "Balancing the Equation: Where are Women and Girls in Science, Engineering, and Technology?" and The Challenge and the Charge: Strategies for Retaining and Advancing Women of Color."
