Rotten fish and sex toys? How 68% of women NEVER clear out their handbags

A survey of UK women, conducted on behalf of online accessories retailer AnjliLondon.com, revealed that most of us carry around the usual suspects: make-up, a mobile phone and a purse.
Eighty per cent of women carried these essentials as well as keys, a hair brush, tissues, painkillers, a mirror and an umbrella.
However some carry around more unusual items. Two per cent of us cart around leftover food. With one woman even admitting to have found a rotten fish at the bottom of her bag.
Twenty-seven per cent of us have hair straighteners with us at all times and four per cent fill our bags with 'chicken fillet' bust enhancers.
Of the 500 women questioned 68 per cent never clear out their handbag and were surprised at its content when asked to check.
They claimed the only time they tip out the contents are when they lose their keys, phone or purse or when they’ve bought a new bag.
