The Center for Talent Innovation has a long history of focusing on challenges and issues pertaining to the workplace. Previously called the Center for Work-Life Policy, our aim is to raise awareness about work:life balance and other current challenges related to advancing diversity and excellence in the global workforce. Originally, (the National Parents Association founded in 1993), we conduted research, testifyied before State legislatures and held meetings at the White House focused on the needs of working parents and their families.
We have expanded our emphasis on developing approaches and workplace policies that address work-life challenge, widening our scope through the Hidden Brain Drain Task Force--a private sector task force focused on helping corporations leverage their talent across the divides of gender, generation and culture. The Task Force is comprised of more than 56 global corporations and organizations representing 4 million employees in 190 countries.
Chaired by Sylvia Ann Hewlett, a well-known author and economist, the Center has seeded 70-plus new programs and policies across sectors to support the ambition, work and life needs of highly qualified women and minorities. The Center for Talent Innovation undertakes research and works with employers to design, promote, and implement workplace policies that increase productivity and enhance personal/family well-being. CTI is committed to promoting policies that enable individuals to realize their full potential across the divides of gender, race and class.
