Donna Shavlik
Donna Shavlik is a Principal with The Timberline Group. She is formerly a Senior Fellow with the American Council on Education (ACE) where she worked with the Division of Institutional and International initiatives on the ACE Kellogg Projects on Institutional Transformation. Shavlik is a founding member of the National Council for Research on Women and former President of NCRW’s Board of Directors as well as a founding member of the National Coalition for Women and Girls in Education. In addition, she is former Director of the American Council on Education, Office of Women in Higher Education, and first recipient of the American Association for Higher Education’s Myra Sadker Equity Award for her leadership and lifetime commitment to equity in education. Her publications include Commitment to the Future: Higher Education and the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women (with Touchton and Hoffman, 1997) and Educating the Majority: Women Challenge Tradition in Higher Education (1990).
