Points for Action:

• Integrate LGBT perspectives more fully into the agendas and conferences of women's organizations, so that LGBT issues are not marginalized within the women's rights movement and so that all women understand that gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender issues are women's issues.

• Sign onto actions and petitions that contest the state’s power to classify by sex so that gender is not strictly classified by the state and state laws.

• Acknowledge as models businesses that have adopted formal policies that recognize legal marriages and treat domestic partners the same way spouses are treated; call upon more businesses to do the same.
