Directions to Conference
The Kimmel Center of New York University is located at Washington Square Park in Manhattan. The Center is accessible by a number of transportation options and additional information can be found at: http://www.nyu.edu/about/travel.html.
By Plane
From La Guardia, JFK, or Newark Airport, take the airport shuttle bus to Port Authority Bus Terminal or Grand Central Station. From Port Authority, take the A or E subway downtown to West Fourth Street-Washington Square Station, or from Grand Central, take the Lexington Avenue subway (No. 6 train) downtown to Astor Place Station. Cabs and car services are available at the airport.
By Train
From Metro North into Grand Central Station, take the Lexington Avenue subway (No. 6 train) downtown to Astor Place Station. From Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) or Amtrack into Pennsylvania Station, take the 8th avenue subway (A and E trains) downtown to West Fourth Street-Washington Square Station. From PATH Trains from New Jersey to Ninth Street Station (Sixth Avenue and Ninth Street), then walk south to West Fourth Street and east to Washington Square.
By Bus
All Greyhound and New Jersey Transit buses go to the Port Authority Terminal. From there, take the Eighth Avenue subway downtown (see By Subway below).
By Subway
The center is accessible by the Lexington Avenue (No. 6 train) at Astor place, the Broadway subway (N,R, or W train) at Eighth Street, the Sixth Avenue subway (A, C, E, B, D, F, or V train) at West Fourth Street-Washington Square Station and the Seventh Avenue subway (1, 9 or 2) at Christopher Street-Sheridan Square.
