The National Council for Research on Women (NCRW) is a network of 120 leading research, policy and advocacy centers dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls. The Council’s Emerging Leaders Network supports entry to mid-level professionals in their efforts to develop leadership skills and build partnerships. The Network is currently developing programs relevant to both the corporate and nonprofit sectors.
The American Folk Art Museum is the premier institution devoted to the aesthetic appreciation of traditional folk art and creative expressions of contemporary self-taught artists from the United States and abroad. The museum preserves, conserves, and interprets a comprehensive collection of the highest quality, with objects dating from the eighteenth century to the present.
