http://www.wiserwomen.org
Contact Information: CENTER DESCRIPTION WISER translates research from a variety of private and governmental sources and produces educational materials for Congress and policy advocates as well as average women across the country. The goal of all our work products is to help policymakers and the public understand the unique challenges women face in preparing for a secure retirement. WISER reaches out to women entering the workforce, women starting their own businesses, high-school and college-age women, women nearing retirement, church and union women, women living and working in rural areas, caregivers, victims of domestic violence and women of color. These women are reached at workshops and seminars, on the web, and through the publication of newsletters, reports, fact sheets, and consumer guides — giving them the skills and confidence they need to start early and plan smart for their future.
