This position is located in the Department of Labor, Office of the Secretary, Women's Bureau.

Full performance level of this position is GS-12.

Relocation expenses may or may not be offered. 

This position is inside the bargaining unit.

DUTES:

The incumbent will perform a wide variety of administrative and analytical duties connected with the review, justification, and presentation of assigned budget areas. The incumbent will provide leadership and guidance connected with the justification, execution, and review of budget consistent with OMB Circular A-11, including primary responsibility for Agency apportions, allotments, allocations and related exhibits. Serves as the Agency's principal liaison and is responsible for administration of contract and procurement, including purchase card activities as well as responsibilities associated with the Agency's debt collection and management program. The incumbent will also be responsible for leading a financial analysis project. Representing WB in budget, procurement, travel and other financial matters with other departmental and Federal agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-11, in the Federal Service depending on the position applying to.

Specialized experience is experience in or related to the position for which you are applying which has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as a comprehensive knowledge of issues impacting the Agency and Departmental Budget.

For the purposes of this vacancy specialized experience is defined as work formulating, justifying, and executing budgets for multiple programs and/or for funds from multiple sources with different authorization requirements; conducting continuous monitoring, analysis, and reporting for tracking and accounting for appropriate utilization of funds. Additional specialized experience must include identifying and developing timely resolutions of budgetary problems; as well as developing high-level financial reporting documents that integrate information from several sources and financial systems.
